Gigi Warshawsky graduated as Professional Chef from San Francisco’s California Culinary
Academy in 1981. She has been in the food service industry for over 35 years as both Chef
and restaurant management.

She currently owns two companies “Dish It Up Catering” and “Food Safety Specialists”. She
is also employed with the Hampton Inn & Suites as their preferred caterer and breakfast
supervisor. Gigi previously taught cooking classes at Shallots Cooking School at the Nugget
Market in Vacaville and is presently teaching at the Sacramento Natural Food Co-op. As a
contributor to Vacaville Magazine, she is the food writer (restaurant reviews) and submits
recipes each issue. She is also an Ambassador and very actively involved with the Vacaville
Chamber of Commerce.

She has catered for many companies, organizations and businesses throughout Solano County
and beyond. She is best known for the elaborate and elegant table designs, as well as her
original recipes, freshness, taste and quality of the food, not to mention courteous service and
her attention to detail.

She has appeared on “Good Day Sacramento”, “Sacramento & Co” and been honored with
feature articles in the Food & Wine sections of the Sacramento Bee and Fairfield’s Daily Republic.
She has also had the privilege to cater for the Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre for such
musicians as: Al Stewart, Pablo Sandoval and Diamond Rio.

Gigi has been a resident of Vacaville for 25 years and her family consists of husband Pete, son
Joshua, the Chapin family (daughter, son-in-law and grandkids), and 3 incredibly cute kitties.
